Special Event Ambulance

Rural/Metro is known throughout the East for our ability to coordinate multiple large-scale events where specialized ambulance services are needed.

Our ambulance standby services are provided under contracts with large sporting venues, including National Football League games and NASCAR and Indy Car races like the Indianapolis 500, marathons, concerts, and other events.  

We also contract for EMS standby services to a variety of one-day or multi-day events, including:

• State Fairs
• Concerts
• Block Parties
• Marathons
• Golf Tournaments
• Cycling Events

In addition to ambulances and personnel fully equipped and certified to respond to any type of medical emergency, in select locations Rural/Metro can provide emergency crews on bicycles for large-scale public events where rapid access to patients can be challenging due to over-crowding.
