Training Department

The training department at Rural/Metro Medical Services of Rochester is ever growing and expanding to bring you the newest and best training opportunities. Our course offerings are brought to you by some of the areas greatest pre-hospital educators.

Here at Rural/Metro Medical Services of Rochester we offer courses from The American Heart Association (AHA) such as Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (CPR), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). We also offer other pre-hospital industry courses such as International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) and our very own progressive Defensive Driving Program developed here at Rural/Metro Rochester using actual Drive Cam footage from the Rochester crews. This Defensive Driving Program has been taught all over the United States.

Continuing Medical Education courses are taught on a monthly basis which will cover all EMT levels. All courses are listed on this site under the "Training Classes" section.
